  • Day 2: Nairobi to Loisaba Conservancy

After a sumptuous breakfast at Hemingways, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Loisaba Conservancy in Laikipia, one of Kenya’s most breathtaking and lesser-explored safari destinations. On arrival, you will be greeted and driven to Loisaba Tented Camp, a spectacular lodge that redefines the concept of luxury in the wilderness.
Perched on the edge of an escarpment, the camp offers uninterrupted views of the vast Laikipia plateau stretching as far as Mount Kenya on clear days. What sets Loisaba Tented Camp apart is its design a harmonious blend of contemporary elegance and African authenticity. The large airy tents are adorned with polished wood, soft furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling windows that immerse you in the surrounding landscape. The infinity pool overlooking the plains is the perfect spot for relaxation, while the camp’s exceptional cuisine and attentive service ensure a truly indulgent experience. In the afternoon, you will embark on your first game drive in Loisaba Conservancy, an area renowned for its high biodiversity and unique wildlife. This is one of the few places where you can encounter rare species such as the endangered Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe, along with elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, and numerous antelope species. Loisaba is also a stronghold for African wild dogs, offering you a rare opportunity to see these elusive predators in their natural habitat. Your first evening in the bush will conclude with a breathtaking sunset as you return to the comfort of your luxurious tent for a night under the African sky.

  • Day 3: Full Day in Loisaba Conservancy

This day will be dedicated to exploring Loisaba in depth. After a hearty breakfast, you will set out on a morning game drive across the pristine wilderness, where you will have excellent chances of encountering big cats on the hunt, large elephant herds, and other iconic species of the African savannah. Loisaba is not only about traditional game drives; it is also about unique experiences that bring you closer to nature. One such highlight will be a guided walking safari, where an expert guide will introduce you to the hidden secrets of the bush, from animal tracks to medicinal plants and bird calls. Later, you will have the chance to experience Loisaba’s signature activities such as camel trekking or horseback riding across the plains. These adventures offer a different perspective of the wilderness, allowing you to move quietly through the terrain as explorers did centuries ago. Your day will end with a magical sundowner at a scenic viewpoint, where you will sip your favorite drink while watching the African sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of gold and crimson.

  • Day 4: Another Day in Loisaba Conservancy

You will spend another full day enjoying everything that Loisaba has to offer. Morning and afternoon game drives will take you to different parts of the conservancy, each revealing new wildlife encounters. This region is part of an important elephant corridor, so sightings of large herds are frequent. You may also encounter the elusive leopard resting in the trees, watch cheetahs stalking their prey, or witness a pride of lions lazing under the shade. The conservancy is also a bird watcher’s paradise, with more than 250 recorded species including raptors, hornbills, and vibrant sunbirds. Back at Loisaba Tented Camp, you will continue to indulge in world-class hospitality. Whether it is enjoying a refreshing dip in the infinity pool, relaxing with a massage, or simply soaking in the views from your private deck, every moment will feel extraordinary. This is the perfect setting to slow down, breathe in the beauty of nature, and immerse yourself in the rhythm of the African wilderness.

  • Day 5: Loisaba Conservancy to Maasai Mara

After breakfast, you will bid farewell to the dramatic landscapes of Laikipia and board a flight to the legendary Maasai Mara. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a scenic game drive through the Olare Motorogi Conservancy as you make your way to Mahali Mzuri, Sir Richard Branson’s award-winning safari camp. This property is the epitome of luxury in the wild, with futuristic tented suites that blend cutting-edge design with authentic African charm.

Each tented suite features floor-to-ceiling glass windows, private decks, and spectacular views of the rolling plains. What makes Mahali Mzuri exceptional is not just its breathtaking location but also its commitment to exclusivity, sustainability, and personalized service.

Here, you will enjoy an all-inclusive experience that includes gourmet cuisine, premium wines and spirits, and a level of comfort that rivals the world’s finest hotels. In the afternoon, you will head out for your first game drive in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, one of the most wildlife-rich areas in the greater Maasai Mara ecosystem. This private conservancy is celebrated for its high density of predators, particularly lions, leopards, and cheetahs. You will also encounter elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and a wide variety of plains game. The exclusivity of this conservancy means you will experience these sightings without the large crowds that are common in the main reserve, allowing for a truly intimate and authentic safari experience.

  • Day 6: Full Day in Maasai Mara

Your first full day in the Maasai Mara will be nothing short of extraordinary. You will set out on early morning and late afternoon game drives or have a balloon safari in the reserve (At an added cost), when wildlife activity is at its peak. This is the time when predators such as lions and cheetahs are most likely to be hunting. The Olare Motorogi Conservancy is famous for its lion prides and cheetah coalitions, so your chances of witnessing dramatic predator-prey interactions are very high. Depending on the seasonal movement of wildlife, you may also start to see the first herds of wildebeest and zebras arriving for the Great Migration, which begins around this time of year. Between your game drives, you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the luxurious facilities at Mahali Mzuri. You can take a dip in the infinity pool overlooking the plains, indulge in a spa treatment, or simply watch the wildlife from the comfort of your private deck.

  • Day 7: Another Day in Maasai Mara

On this second day in the Mara, you will continue to explore the conservancy’s diverse landscapes, which range from open grasslands to acacia woodlands and riverine forests. Morning and afternoon game drives will reveal new encounters perhaps a leopard lounging on a tree branch, a black rhino grazing in the distance, or a herd of elephants with their calves crossing the savannah. This will also be a great day for photography, as the dramatic landscapes and abundant wildlife create endless opportunities for breathtaking shots. In the evening, you may enjoy a special bush dinner under the starlit African sky, complete with lanterns, campfire, and traditional Maasai entertainment. This will be a magical and unforgettable way to conclude your time in one of the most iconic safari destinations on earth.

  • Day 8: 23rd June 2025 – Departure
