Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu (389 km – 5 to 6 hrs)
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport in the morning and begin safari to Samburu arriving with a short adventurous game drive. Check-in at Ashnil Samburu camp and have lunch. Afternoon game drive to sight resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, and the Blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country (also referred to as Samburu Special Five).
Day 2- Samburu National Reserve
Samburu National Reserve is famous for its breathtaking arid and semi-arid landscape; the reserve is rich in wildlife. Situated alongside the Ewaso Nyiro River, there is plenty to attract wildlife from the surrounding savannah plains. The reserve is also home to elephants and large predators such as the lion, leopard, and cheetah. ‘Kamunyak’, the miracle lioness that adopted the baby Oryx was a resident in the reserve.
Day 3- Samburu – Aberdares (238 km. – 5 hrs)
Early morning game drive while catching the breath-taking sunrise, then breakfast at your camp. Begin safari to Aberdare arriving with a short adventurous game drive in time for lunch and check-in at Aberdare Hotel, have lunch and relax. Afternoon transfer across Aberdare Park to The Ark, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you!
Day 4- Aberdare – Lake Nakuru (128 km – 3 to 4 hrs)
Early morning breakfast game en-route and begin safari to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch and check-in at Flamingo Hill Camp. Afternoon game drive across the Pink Lake often referred so due to its great masses of flamingos not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park.
Day 5- Nakuru – Maasai Mara (300 km – 5 to 6 hrs)
Early morning breakfast and begin safari to Maasai Mara, one of East Africa’s famous reserves. Arrive in time for lunch, Check-in at Ashnil Mara camp or Mara Sarova Camp, and have lunch. An afternoon adventurous game drive in search of wildlife like; Lions, Elephants, and Leopards, Cheetah, Buffalos, and other plain’s game.
Day 6- Masai Mara
The whole day spent at Maasai Mara exploring the vastness of this wildlife haven, Maasai Mara is famous for its wildlife abundance, it’s home to the Big Five and one of the highest concentrations of predators not forgetting the great migration which is the most famous wildlife spectacle in the world.
Day 7- Masai Mara – Nairobi (265 km – 5 to 6 hrs)
Early Morning breakfast at your camp check out of the camp and park and Drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Have lunch at carnivore afterward drop off at your respective hotel or Airport.
(Optional to our clients with Flights) – if you have an afternoon flight you need Lunch at Carnivore, but if you have an evening flight you can do more game drive till lunchtime and arrive in Nairobi at around 5 to 6 pm.
