Amboseli National Park is widely regarded as one of the best places in Africa to observe large herds of majestic elephants up close. Visitors to the park can also enjoy a breathtaking view of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which provides an unforgettable backdrop to this already stunning landscape.

Itinerary

Day 1- Nairobi – Maasai Mara Game Reserve (230 km – 4 to 5 hrs)
We will pick you up from your hotel at 07:30 am and begin our safari where we will drive through the view point of the Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. It is part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at the Lodge/camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive.
Day 2- Full day exploring Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Full day spent adventuring on the plains which has enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During the stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people to witness and fully immerse into their culture of singing and dancing which is part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.
Day 3- Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park (196 km – 5 hrs)
Early morning game drive, then return to the Lodge for breakfast and begin the safari Lake Nakuru National park located in the Great Rift Valley. After lunch we head for an adventurous game drive in the wild until 6.30 in the evening. The Park is a home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lake shores in to a magnificent pink stretch. The bird life here is world renown and over 400 bird’s species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White and Black Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe.
Day 4- Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha (92 km – 2 hrs)
We have early breakfast at the Lodge and then begin our safari to Lake Naivasha with en-route game drive in Lake Nakuru. Arrival at your Lodge in the early afternoon for lunch and the afternoon is spent on the Crescent Island where the 15 minute boat ride sails to this animal sanctuary where Herbivores like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe and Hippo. Later, return in the evening for dinner and overnight at your Lodge.
Day 5- Lake Naivasha – Amboseli (310 km – 5 to 6 hrs)
After breakfast, we begin safari to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive at the park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Dinner and overnight at your camp or Lodge.
Day 6- Full Day exploring Amboseli National Park
Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another extensive game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest, Giraffes, and Baboons. Optional visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast.
Maasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. Main destination: Amboseli National Park.
Day 7- Amboseli National Park – Nairobi (215.6 km – 3 to 4 hrs)
Early morning game drive, return to the camp/lodge for breakfast then depart by road to Nairobi. On arrival transfer to your residence or the airport for your flight back home to unwind the exciting experiences that you’ve had.
