The Maasai Mara is a large game reserve, It is world-renowned for its exceptional populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs and elephant, and the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, Thomson’s gazelle and other antelope, to and from the Serengeti every year known as the Great Migration.
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel at 0600hrs passing through the floor of the Great Rift Valley, to the Mara Reserve.
Arrive in time for lunch at the Mara Serena lodge.
Afternoon game drive thereafter at 1600hrs with great chances of sighting the big five which include Elephants, Rhinos, Buffaloes, Lions and the Leopard.
Other wildlife species that you will see include; Zebras, Elands, Cheetahs, Wildebeests, Impalas, Hippos, Giraffes, Hyenas, Waterbucks, Crocodiles among others.
The Mara also boasts of a proliferous birdlife with about 500 recorded species.

The whole day spent at Maasai Mara exploring the vastness of this wildlife haven Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Buffalos, and Zebras dominates the scene while Antelopes, Warthogs, and Wildebeests form formidable numbers. Maasai Mara has the highest concentration of wildlife per square kilometer than any other park in the region. An optional local Maasai Village visit can be arranged.

Another day to explore, and search for the large populations of wildebeest, rhinoceros, buffaloes, lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, cheetahs, zebras, Impalas, gazelles, hartebeest, warthogs, ostrich, Topi and Maasai Giraffes among others. Early Morning hot air balloon ride can be arranged at an extra cost. Meals and overnight at Mara Serena lodge.
Pre-breakfast game drive then after breakfast depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.
