Day :- Kigali- Akagera National Park

After breakfast you will be picked from the hotel by our driver guide, drive east through the beautiful plains to Akagera National Park. Arrive in the afternoon for lunch and check-in at the lodge then have an evening game drive.
Akagera National park is home to herds of elephants, buffalos, lions, Maasai giraffe, gazelles, impala, baboons, oribi, Butchel’s zebra, topi, bush baby, leopard, and bushbuck. Also, a large concentration of birdlife with over 500 species identified. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day :- Akagera National Park

After breakfast, head for a half-day game viewing for the wild animals you missed on the previous game drive. Return to the lodge for lunch then have an afternoon boat ride at Lake Ihema, where you will have a closer look at water animals like Crocodiles and Hippos, unique bird species such as Shoe billed stocks and papyrus gonolek. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day :- Akagera to Volcanoes National Park

Have breakfast then begin a long drive to volcanoes national park for gorilla trekking the highlight of this trip. Arrive there late afternoon for lunch, relax then take walk through nearby forests to nearby crater lakes for scenic viewing and bird watching. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day :- Volcanoes National Park

After early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the headquarters for a briefing about gorilla tracking. The tracking of Gorilla takes about half a day and you get to watch the Gorillas playing, feeding among them. It’s the most amazing experience just watching these magnificent animals. You also get a chance to see other animals such as Golden monkey, elephant, buffalo, and birds. Return to the lodge for lunch and relax. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day :- Departure

After breakfast check out then leave for Kigali for a return flight. You can opt for a city tour, have lunch and visit a gift shop before your flight home.
