Upon arrival in Nairobi – safari capital of the world, you will be met and chauffeured to your hotel to unwind and relax.
After breakfast, we travel down to the floor of the Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Spend the day exploring the amazing birdlife as well as rhino and leopard for which Lake Nakuru is internationally known. The park is also home to a huge colony of flamingo.
After breakfast, we exit with a game drive, and our travels take us to the land of the Maasai, a cattle-herding people still proudly aloof from western civilization. Our destination, the Maasai Mara, is a magnificent park and home to Kenya’s richest concentration of wildlife. We spend the next two days in the Mara, Kenya’s northern extension of the Greater Serengeti ecosystem. Each day, on morning and afternoon game drives, we view some of Africa’s largest prides of lion, herds of zebra, antelope, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, cheetah and hyena.
Full day spent viewing the great predators and explore the amazingly high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During the stay, we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.
Early morning breakfast then set off for a morning game drive to witness the animal kingdom at its most active hour, search for the park’s large populations of wildebeest, rhinoceros, buffaloes, lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, cheetahs, zebras, Impalas, gazelles, hartebeest, warthogs, ostrich, Topi and Maasai Giraffes among others. Early Morning hot air balloon ride can be arranged at an extra cost. You choose to have a picnic lunch or lunch at the camp. Proceed with game drives in search of missed wildlife.
Today bid farewell to animals of Maasai Mara and drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch at the Brazilian Styled Carnivore Restaurant. Later we catch a flight to the Kenyan coast. Upon arrival at Mombasa International airport you’re met and chauffeured to your beach resort. Spend the next three days in complete enjoyment and relaxation at this fun filled beach resort.
Day 7 and 8 will be a combination of relaxation and light sigh-seeing. After breakfast, you can take a morning beach walk and spend the day enjoying the hotel facilities such as the pool or play games offered at the hotel’s lounge, or you can also enjoy a good massage. In one of the days, we can visit the Marine Park where you can have a glimpse of the underwater life through a glass – bottom boat. Other activities to enjoy are snorkeling or Sky diving.
Mombasa/Nairobi (Breakfast): Bid farewell to the wonderful people of Mombasa and catch your flight to Nairobi then connect with your international flight home.
Early Morning breakfast at your camp check out of the camp and park and Drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Lunch at carnivore afterwards drop off at your respective hotel or Airport.
