Safari Overview
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
Pick up from the hotel or airport and embark on an expedition through Kenya’s enchanting landscapes that draw nature enthusiasts and geology aficionados alike to this geological marvel known as the Great Rift Valley, you will make a stop at the viewpoint on the way to enjoy the amazing views of the largest Valley in the world, said to be visible from outer space.
Then you will drive down to Masai Mara Reserve, Mara means ‘the spotted land’ in the local Maasai language due to the many short bushy trees which dot the landscape. upon arrival, you will be transferred to the camp to settle in before your first game drive in this iconic wildlife reserve. After lunch proceed for an evening game drive in the reserve, it is in Maasai Mara where you can truly hear the call of the wild. Renowned for its lion pride, it is also home to the other Africa’s Big Five- Leopard, elephant, buffalo, and Black rhino. Return to the Camp in time for dinner and overnight at Entim Mara Camp.

An all-time favorite is a full-day double-picnic safari exploring the far corners of Mara. Here you will witness one of the most sought-after events for wildlife and nature enthusiasts: the Great Migration. More than one million wildebeest and 200,000 zebras cross the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem in quest of pasture and water, much to the delight of Mara’s hungry predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and enormous crocodiles. The foaming waters, noise, and drama of the Mara crossing must be seen to be believed, and they provide dramatic action photography opportunities. You will also have sightings of other wildlife such as topi perched on anthills, Maasai giraffe moving gracefully across the plains, and gazelles grazing peacefully amongst Coke’s hartebeest, impala, and herds of lovely eland, Africa’s largest antelope. You will have your picnic lunch under a desert date with endless grasslands and sweeping horizons. On one of the days you can choose to have a hot balloon safari (at extra cost) or An optional visit to Maasai Village can be arranged, this visit gives a good tour of Maasai culture and you will be welcomed with a song and dance presentation, which forms part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. Day 5: Masai Mara to Nairobi
On the last safari day, you will make the most of it with an early rise for the morning game drive. By now you should be checking off your list of animal sightings, returning to the camp for breakfast, and checking out. Depart for Nairobi, on arrival drop off at the airport for your outbound flight.
