0600hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel
Start your day by visiting the most accessible and yet wild haven, Nairobi national park just a breath and sight away from the bustling Kenya capital – Nairobi city.
Established in 1946 and Kenya’s first the Nairobi National park is made up of wide open grass savannah plains.
Its scattered acacia bush and forest cover is host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, white rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, Zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, eland, hippopotamus, crocodiles, and a thriving birdlife with over 400 species recorded.
Visit the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage at 1100hrs to watch in close up the feeding and tender care is given to the orphaned elephants.
Our tour for the day also takes you to the Giraffe center for yet another close-up with the endangered Rothschild giraffe where you will feed them and learn more about Giraffe species from all over Africa.
