Safari Overview

This safari takes you to Sheldrick Wildlife Trust where you get up close interaction with the rescued baby elephants. Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is the first and most successful elephant orphan rescue and rehabilitation program in the world. This tour will end in Amboseli National park which is famous for huge herds of the African giants.

  • Day :- Nairobi

    Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by an Entice Africa representative who will transfer you to the Acacia tree lodge for an overnight stay.

  • Day :- Full Day in Nairobi

    After breakfast, you will be picked from Acacia Tree Lodge and proceed to David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. Between 1100HR-1200HRS you will have an opportunity to see the baby elephants being fed and playing, Also, there is a keeper who will give a talk about the elephants, where they came from, how they are getting on, and how some of the previous orphans are progressing, thereafter, you will leave for carnivore restaurant for lunch and a bit of shopping for the safari. Later in the evening at 1700hrs, we return to the elephant orphanage for a foster parent visit intended for sponsors only. This visit provides a wonderful opportunity for sponsors to learn more about the project they support. You will have a chance to spend more quality time with the little orphans and see the stalls where they live & sleep. Overnight at Acacia tree lodge.

  • Day :- Nairobi – Tsavo East National Park.

    After breakfast, depart for the Ithumba Camp in Tsavo East national park. This exclusive Sheldrick wildlife trust is Self –catering property, our chef will make you delicious meals throughout your stay. You will frequently visit the Elephants at the release Station. You will have a late afternoon Elephant visit. Overnight stay at Ithumba Camp.

  • Day :- Ithumba, Tsavo east

    You will spend another 2 nights at the Ithumba camp. You will visit the stockade for both morning and evening feeding times and seethe elephants at their afternoon mud bath. The beauty of the location combined with both wild and orphaned elephants interaction is sure to inspire you.

  • Day :- Tsavo East – Umani springs

    After scrumptious breakfast, depart for the Kibwezi forest which is a conservation area for another release station for Elephants. Upon arrival, we will have lunch and have time to relax in Umani springs lodge a self-catering house. Following our evening visit to the Umani stockades, we will enjoy a delicious meal prepared by the staff chef. Dinner and overnight at Umani springs lodge.

  • Day :- Full day at Umani Springs

    After breakfast, leave for Chyulu Hills National Park with Packed lunch. The park boasts of Magnificent scenery, Verdant rolling hills of endless green, great blue skies, and spectacular landscape views are what the Chyulu Hills provide to nature lovers. Large mammals include buffalo, bushbucks, elands, elephants, leopards, giant forest hogs, bush pigs, reedbucks, and giraffes along with various reptiles and insects. Horse riding, camping, mountain climbing, and bird watching can be enjoyed in this hidden part of paradise. In the evening, have a visit to the stockades spend some time with the elephants then return to Umani Springs for an overnight stay.

  • Day :- Umani Springs – Amboseli National Park.

    Early Morning breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch and check in at Ol Tukai Lodge. Have an afternoon rest then proceed for an evening game drive, explore this national park which is famous for its huge herds of elephant and the view of Mt. Kilimanjaro which is the tallest mountain in Africa and best viewed from Amboseli. Wildlife and birds to be seen here includes Maasai giraffe, hyenas, lions fringe-eared Oryx, and over 400 species of birds. Dinner and overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge.

  • Day :- Full Day at Amboseli National Park

    After breakfast, leave for a morning game drive, this is the best time to see the highest white-capped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure and thereafter depart for an evening game drive. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Dinner and overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge.

  • Day :- Amboseli National Park – Nairobi

    After breakfast, depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon, have lunch at a restaurant before proceeding to Elephant orphanage for one last visit ( 1700hrs) then drop you off at the airport for your outbound PM flight
