Entice Africa Safaris Ltd. offers a 2-days, 1-night safari in the Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most famous wildlife sanctuary is the perfect place for exploring Africa’s unique, diverse wildlife. Overall, the weather is very comfortable and rain happens almost evenly throughout the year.
Early in the morning, you will be picked up in Nairobi by the guide to depart to Maasai Mara and provide a briefing on your safari. You will arrive in the Mara in time for lunch at your Lodge, which will be followed by an afternoon game drive till evening.
Travel time to Mara will take around 5-6 hrs. Along the way, there will be a stopover at the Great Rift Valley where you can take photos of the sheer drop of the Rift Valley, as well as the nearby Suswa Ranges and Mount Longonot.
Upon arrival at Mara, you can settle in and rest before proceeding to an afternoon game drive at Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Early morning tea/ coffee or Hot chocolate then depart for a morning game drive. Here we find the Old Africa of the movies, with rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with wildlife. No matter how much you have thought about Africa, this is more than you expected—and the ideal backdrop for a hot air balloon expedition. During our stay we also have an opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.
After a full English breakfast back at the camp/lodge depart for Nairobi by road arriving early afternoon
