Frequently Asked Questions
When is the best time to visit Kenya?
Kenya’s safari destinations are at their best from January to March, during the short dry season, making it ideal for honeymooners and solo travelers. We have two rainy seasons: the long rainy season, which lasts from April to May, and the short rainy season, which lasts from October to November. It is well worth considering if you want to avoid peak-season crowds and take advantage of lower off-season rates on lodging and tours. From July to October, the famous annual great wildebeest migration begins, and this is considered peak season for East Africa and the best time to visit.
How long should a Kenya safari last?
A minimum of 5 days is required to fully enjoy your African safari. Enjoy three days in the park or reserve, plus two days traveling to and from the park.
How many places should I visit during a safari?
Safaris can last anywhere from one to twenty days, depending on your time and budget. An African safari can be costly, so make your plans accordingly. East Africa has the best ecosystems and wildlife species to see, and you can finish your safari with a beach vacation to Kenya’s coast or Zanzibar.
Are international flight costs included in your advertised safari tour price?
