Kenya safari package prices at Entice Africa Safaris start with a 3-day Maasai Mara trip from USD 1,420 per person. A 10-day route from Samburu to the Mara is from USD 5,100 per person, two sharing; both are Midrange prices for April to June. Longer, more comfortable and fly-in itineraries generally cost more, and the price list below covers most of the trips we have priced so you can compare before you ask for a quote.

Every price here is a “from” price in US dollars per person for a private trip, with your own 4×4 and driver-guide rather than a seat in a group vehicle. What you pay depends on the season, your group size and the lodges you choose, so read these figures as a starting point for your quote, not a final invoice.

How to read a “from” price on a Kenya safari

A “from” price is the headline rate on a trip page. On most pages it is the low-season rate for two people sharing a room, and the page shows its rate table so you can see the basis. The 6-Day Fly-In Big Five Safari is a good example: it is from USD 4,043 per person, two sharing, on January to March 2027 rates, and the same trip costs more from July to October.

Three things move the number more than anything else: the season, how many people share the vehicle, and the comfort level of the lodges. Three things are almost never in it: international flights, your Kenya eTA and travel insurance.

Kenya safari package prices by trip

These are the live from prices on our trip pages, checked on 9 October 2026, in US dollars per person. Trips without a published price, and a few pages we are still updating, are not listed; ask us for a tailor-made quote on those, or on a route of your own.

Short Maasai Mara safaris, 3 to 5 days

On our 3-day trip the drive from Nairobi to the Mara is about 260 km, which takes 5 to 6 hours, or about an hour by light aircraft, so the road days are long. You can fly one way or both.

Classic Kenya circuits, 7 to 10 days

Length alone does not set the price. The 10-day Samburu to Mara figure is the Budget level in low season, and its rate table climbs steeply to Luxury in peak season.

Fly-in safaris, 6 to 11 days

Fly-in trips leave more time for game drives. Light aircraft usually limit luggage to 15 kg per person including hand luggage, in soft bags.

Safari and beach, 12 to 14 days

Photography, birding and senior-friendly trips

These trips are built around a purpose: photography, birding or a gentler pace. The two senior-friendly trips have no published price here, so ask for a tailor-made quote.

Kenya with Tanzania or Uganda, 21 to 30 days

Neither trip has a published price here, so ask for a tailor-made quote. The 21-day trip adds Zanzibar, and the 30-day trip adds Uganda’s gorillas and chimpanzees.

These Nairobi-area days suit a layover or a spare day around your safari.

What the price includes, and what it does not

The detail sits on each trip page. On the 3-Day, 10-Day and 14-Day trips and the 6-Day Fly-In, the price includes:

• your own 4×4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof and an English-speaking driver-guide
• accommodation and the meals shown in the itinerary
• park and reserve fees, plus conservancy fees where the page lists them
• drinking water
• airport or hotel transfers

These pages list international flights, travel and medical insurance, tips, personal items such as laundry and optional activities as extra, and you arrange your own Kenya eTA. The optional hot-air balloon over the Maasai Mara is USD 550 per person. We confirm park fees, conservancy fees and meals line by line in your quote.

Park fees are part of the price, and the authorities set them. Kenya Wildlife Service publishes a tariff that sorts its parks into categories, including premium parks such as Amboseli and Lake Nakuru and wilderness parks such as Tsavo East and Tsavo West, each with its own rate. Narok County sets the Maasai Mara reserve fee and splits the year in two: its 2023 Finance Act defines low season as 1 January to 30 June and high season as 1 July to 31 December, with a higher non-resident fee in the high season.

What changes the price of a Kenya safari

Season

Our newer trip pages use three bands: low season from April to June, mid season from November to March and peak season from July to October. April and May bring the long rains, fewer vehicles and our lowest prices, with muddy tracks and some camps closed. July to October is the Great Migration season in the Maasai Mara, and Magical Kenya, the country’s official tourism site, describes it as the most dramatic part of the herds’ year-round movement. Group size

Travelers who share a vehicle share its cost. A solo traveler pays a single-room rate, while groups of four to six in one vehicle pay less per person. The 3-Day trip’s rate table shows this column by column, from solo to six people.

Comfort level

Budget, Midrange and Luxury change the lodges, not the route, vehicle or guide. The 10-Day trip’s rate table runs from Budget in low season to Luxury in peak season, and the spread is wide.

Road or fly-in

Flying cuts a 5 to 6 hour drive to about an hour, but flights cost money. Most of the fly-in packages above list their light-aircraft flights as included, and the trip page shows which do. Ask us to price a trip both ways and compare.

Which package fits your budget

Find your starting group below, then open the trips inside it. The biggest saving is usually a move from peak to low or mid season, then Budget or Midrange lodges and a full vehicle of four to six travelers.

What is the cheapest time of year for a Kenya safari?

On our 10-day and 14-day trips April to June is the low season: the lowest prices, fewer vehicles and some camps closed in the long rains. The 3-day trip is cheapest in April and May, and the 6-day fly-in from January to March, which is usually dry and good for big cats.

Can I change a package or travel on my own dates?

Yes. Each itinerary is a starting point: add nights, fly a leg, move up or down a comfort level, or add Lake Nakuru or the coast. Every trip is private, so it can start on a date that suits you, subject to availability, and we reprice it for your dates.

Do I need an eTA for Kenya?

Travelers from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia do, and Kenya’s government publishes a short list of exempt nationalities. The official eTA site says applications are usually processed in about three working days, recommends applying at least two weeks ahead and asks for a passport valid for at least six months with a blank page. Apply only on the official site, etakenya.go.ke, and check the current fee there before you pay.
